The practice of sentencing for the crime of arbitrariness and issues of improvement of responsibility for this crime
Abstract
It is known that criminal punishment is one of the main concepts of criminal law. It aims to protect social relations from socially dangerous aggressions. From this point of view, criminal punishment plays an important role in the prevention of crimes and moral correction of the convict. In this case, not only the severity or lightness of the punishment prescribed by the law, but also the imposition of punishment taking into account the characteristics of the act and the person is one of the important factors of achieving the purpose of the punishment.
