SUPERIOUR BARGAINING POWER OF DIGITAL PLATFORMS
Abstract
In today's fast-changing world of technology, digital platforms have become really important. They're like major players that are changing how businesses work, how people buy things, and even how markets behave. This thesis sets out to explore something interesting: how these digital platforms have a lot of control when they're making deals, and what this means for different parts of our lives. As digital platforms become even more influential, it's super important for people who make rules, businesses, and everyone else to understand how they work and what their effects are. Digital platforms mix technology, money, and how we live. They've changed how we trade goods and services, making old ways of doing business change. Things like data, how connected people are, and new technology all matter a lot. As these platforms become really powerful, they can use this special control to make deals that suit them. This power is really important, but it also comes with problems. We need to think about fairness, competition, and how much power they should have in our digital world.
