Primary school teachers play an important role in imparting knowledge to their students and keeping their classrooms engaged. Depending on the age of the children they teach and the subject they deliver, teachers can use different teaching styles to help their students learn. Understanding some of the popular teaching styles for primary school can help you decide which method you might prefer to use when working in this field. In this article, we explain what teaching methods are, provide eight examples of teaching styles primary teachers commonly use and share the benefits of understanding a range of different methods.
