Study of mine parameters when transitioning to the underground mining method in an open pit mine

Abstract

A new mining scheme using the induction caving method to use hanging-wall ore during stratification in mining operations it is proposed to switch from open pit and underground mining. The main idea is to use the mined area resulting from planned mining and for the hanging wall ore body to absorb the collapsed slope body, to prevent the influence of the inner slope deposit on the normal state it is important to guarantee mining efficiency at the stage of open-pit mining and transition between strata. A numerical simulation study of the process induction caving of hanging-wall ore bodies is carried out based on the practical engineering environment of the Tebin Bulak iron mine; it is also analyzed by mining the hanging-wall ore deposits under the southern slope in the Tebin Bulak iron mine as an example and finally obtaining a reliable mining pattern. obtained through induction caving. This numerical study proves the feasibility of the proposed new mining scheme for the hanging wall. In the mine ore-body and provides theoretical support for its application in practical mining activities.
