SAUSSURE`S BASIC PRINCIPLES OF STRUCTURAL LINGUISTICS
Abstract
In this article the term “structuralism” that was developed by Ferdinand de Saussure and his main structural principles are analyzed with detailed examples. Ferdinand de Saussure`s theory of structuralism plays a key role in the development of linguistics, and his works on structuralism are studied as a main example of structural linguistics.
