PRP THERAPY IN PATIENTS WITH GONARTHRISIS

Abstract

This report is devoted to the study of the results of PRP therapy in 20 patients with osteoarthritis of the knee. Prepared platelet-rich plasma in a volume of 5-6 ml was injected intra-articularly into the knee joint. The course of treatment consisted of a single injection of the drug once a week, the number of procedures ranged from 3 to 7. The results of treatment were evaluated at various times after the start of therapy on the VAS and KOOS scales, and the dynamics of MRI data was studied.
