CONSERVATION OF BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY AND ITS ROLE TODAY

Abstract

Due to the rapid spread of modern patterns of human consumption, production, trade, agricultural and industrial development, housing construction, and population growth worldwide, negative human impacts on biodiversity are increasing. Biodiversity is an actual and potential resource for meeting the economic, ecological and cultural-aesthetic needs of the society, and it ensures the sustainable development of the society. The economic development of the country largely depends on the state of natural biological resources.
