“THE DIFFERENCE OF SYNTAX IN THE OLD, MIDDLE AND MODERN ENGLISH PERIODS”

Abstract

This article aims to explore the differences in syntax between Old, Middle, and Modern English periods. The study examines the evolution of sentence structure and word order, identifying changes in the use of case and tense, as well as the influence of Latin and other languages on the development of English syntax.
