THE USE OF FEATURE FILMS IN THE CLASSROOM OF RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract
The use of feature films in the classroom of Russian as a foreign language" is an article that explores the effectiveness of using feature films as a tool for teaching Russian as a foreign language. The article discusses the advantages of using feature films, such as the ability to expose learners to authentic language and culture, as well as the challenges of selecting appropriate films and creating effective lesson plans. The authors also provide examples of how feature films can be used in the classroom to promote language learning, such as through pre-watching activities, post-watching discussions, and follow-up writing assignments. The article ultimately argues that feature films can be a valuable resource for Russian language teachers, and that incorporating them into the classroom can help to enhance learners' language proficiency and cultural understanding.
