The originality of modernity in the work of Amon Mukhtar

Abstract

In the 1990s, Amon Mukhtar's wonderful and original novels such as "A Thousand Faces", "Man in Front of the Mirror", "Ruin on the Hill", "The Country of Women and the Kingdom", "Plato", "The Square" became a serious innovation in the development of our national novel.  First of all, these novels are distinguished by their originality of content, form and style of expression.  Until the 90s, the Uzbek novel mainly followed the path of traditional realism.  In particular, the novels of Amon Mukhtar in the 70s and 80s, "Wind of the Years", "Bending Head" belonged to this direction.
