CRITERIA FOR SELECTING TEXT MATERIAL FOR TEACHING STUDENTS IN GRADES 7-9 IN ORAL SPEECH.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the selection of text material for developing the discursive competence of students in secondary schools. Brief information about the concept of “text” in linguo didactics is presented, its role in the formation of oral speech skills in a foreign language is substantiated, and the criteria for selecting text material are determined.
