Abstract

The article presents information about folk tales and holidays mentioned in the works of Abu Rayhan Beruni. In the study of the past of the Uzbek people, Beruni's information about the peoples of Central Asia, especially about the peoples and tribes that lived on the territory of modern Uzbekistan in the Middle Ages, the Khorezmians, Sogdians, and Turkic-speaking peoples, is important. .
